Denver Broncos betting odds
and lines
Will the Denver Broncos
defense line improve on time for the 2007 NFL season and what
the betting odds tell us about the Broncos.
How
far will the Denver Broncos go this football season will be
mostly decided by how improved the defense line is. Three
D-linemen were signed during the first three rounds of the
draft, including the sack specialist Jarvis Moss in the first
round. Champ Bailey is at one corner and on the other side is
the Detroit trade Dre Bly.
And for the fourth straight year the
Denver Broncos kept their tradition and traded their running
back Tatum Bell to Detroit, the same trade which landed them Dre
Bly. The gap will be filled up by Travis Henry coming from
Tennessee. Quarterback Jay Cutler will have to improve quickly
for the regular season if the Broncos are looking for a playoff.
And the veteran Patrick Ramsey will be there to back up Cutler,
after a good performance at the opener against the the San
Francisco 49'ers. The Broncos won the game 17-13, Patrick Ramsey
was 4-for-10 for 45 yards and one touchdown for the Broncos.
Travis Henry carried the ball five times for 27 yards with a TD.
The betting odds on the Denver Broncos manage
to reflect the position of the team, slightly better than last
year's, but still nowhere among the favorites. The betting odds
