2007 Miami
Dolphins betting odds
Not much optimism in the
fans of the Miami Dolphins entering the 2007 football season.
Awful
last season for the Miami Dolphins, after much expectations were
on the team's performance under the direction of head coach Nick
Saban. The Dolphins lost six of the first seven games, and
quarterback Daunte Culpepper took part only in four games before
being lost for the football season due to a knee injury. Joey
Harrington took the starter position and the Miami Dolphins
closed the shop with 6-10 record. The defense was great,
considering the brutal schedule, and with a better quarterback
the Dolphins could have done much better.
During the offseason, head coach Saban
was replaced by the former Chargers offensive coordinator Cam
Cameron. Joey Harrington also left the team and with Culpepper
in obviously bad shape, the Dolphins traded for the Chiefs
veteran QB Trent Green. But not before they managed to anger
their fans for passing on the Notre Dame star Brady Quinn in the
first round of the draft, to select the wide receiver Ted Ginn
Jr.
Taking Trent Green to Florida, however,
proved to be a good move. In the preseason opener the Miami
Dolphins slipped past the Kansas City Chiefs for an 11-10
victory. Dolphins QB Trent Green went 4-of-7 for 41 yards
passing in the victory. Cleo Lemon was an efficient 8-of-11 for
52 yards on the night.

Dolphins, there is plenty to be desired from the team this NFL
