2007 MLB World
Series Championship betting odds
Last year the Cardinals beat
the Tigers, 4-2, in Game 5 to win the MLB World Series. Eckstein
was named the Series' Most Valuable Player.
For the 2007 World Series, however, the
betting odds have changed for the St. Louis Cardinals, and now
they are 60/1, according to the online betting website
Bodog Sports (new window).
Detroit Tigers are doing much better and their betting odds to
win the 2007 MLB World Series are at 8/1. Favorite, according to
the bookmaker, are Boston Red Sox with odds only 3/1.
Although the final is months away, it has
never been the best time to take advantage of the betting odds
on your favorite team. Any team could get to the World Series
final, and Kansas City Royals hold betting odds of 1000/1, which
means that you will win $1,000 for every $1 you bet on the
Royals to win the 2007 MLB World Series. This, of course, is an
unimaginable example, but you get the point. You never know, the
Chicago White Sox may break through and repeat their 2005
performance, and with betting odds of 35/1 a $100 bet gives you
$3500.

Of course, as the MLB games progress, the odds
will change. Unless you are 100% sure that your team has what it
takes to win the World Series, we recommend you do not bet large
amounts on these odds until the Series get into final phase. For
now, if your favorite team is Tampa Bay Devil Rays - a $10 bet
will bring you $6,000, if you are extremely lucky.
