PlayTech strikes online gambling deal with Chinese operator

PlayTech, one of the leading online gambling software providers, has entered into five year contract with Sino Strategic International - China's leading gaming group. Shanghai Kelo, a subsidiary of Sino Strategic International, operates the largest corporate retail gaming network in China, providing legal gambling products, such as lotto, keno and video lottery terminals.

PlayTech will become the first major provider for Texas Hold'em Poker software in China. This is a major deal for the increasingly Asia oriented gambling software provider, as they exited the USA market after the UIGEA was passed this year. This partnership will help PlayTech develop even stronger presence and brand name recognition in the Asian markets. The plans are for PlayTEch to supply it's games to over 5,000 terminals with a future expansion.
