American Idol: Lakisha Jones odds to win
unchanged
Despite an amazing performance
by Lakisha Jones, her odds to win the American Idol remain
unchanged.
According to the online
betting website
Bodog, Jones odds to win the
sixth edition of the famous American Idol are 12/1. Singing the
Bon Jovi hit yesterday, helped none Lakisha Jones to improve
those odds. And what appears to be the first sign of some
emotion, Simon gave her a somewhat cold kiss, but even this did
not help the bookmakers change their mind. Last week's votes are
still hanging over Lakisha Jones' head, which will be combined
with this week's and the two of the Idols to go home will be
determined tonight. American Idol starts at 9/8c on Fox.
Jordin Sparks and Melinda
Doolittle are still the favorites to win the Idol with odds of
10/11 and 6/5 respectively.
As two of the American Idol
contestants will be leaving the scene, Chris Richardson and Phil
Stacey seem to be the two widely believed to be voted off the
show.
Blake Lewis and Lakisha Jones
are currently in the golden middle, looking at the betting odds,
but everything may change tonight and the total vote count could
go either way. The total votes this week are expected to be the
record number ever for the American Idol in its six years of
existence.
