PGA European Tour: Valle Romano Open de Andalucia
Odds
The European edition of the
PGA Tour starts tomorrow and we check to see who has the best
odds of winning the EPGA.
For
the best betting odds, we check at our preferred online betting
site
Bodog Sports, which have
published their props for the European PGA Tour.
Miguel Angel Jimenez is the
favorite so far with odds to win 10/1. The 43-year-old golfer
from Malaga went pro in 1982 and has career earnings of almost
$11 million. Miguel Angel Jimenez finished 33rd in his last game
at WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship (PGA). He holds 13
European Tour International Schedule titles and four of them
have been on Spanish soil.
Lee Westwood is another strong
name in the golf event this year, holding betting odds of 12/1.
He is 34 years old from Worksop, England. Westwood turned pro in
1993 and has a little over $3.4 million in total career
earnings. He has a good advantage as far as power, but he lacks
the short game, which could prove crucial on this short game
course, and his Official World Golf Ranking is 63.
Simon Dyson has betting odds
of 14/1 to win the European golf tournament. He is the youngest
of the three favorites - only 30 years old, turned pro in 1999.
Simon Dyson has $3.5 million in career earnings already, but has
not taken part in any official golf tournaments this year.
Valle Romano Open de Andalucia
will be played between May 10th and May 13th, and the winner
will take home € 166,660 ($225,400).
