Sona Mobile to supply mobile gambling solutions
in Nevada
Sona Mobile Holdings Corp. (OTC:SNMB) received Nevada Gaming Commission approval
for its mobile gambling product.
The approval will allow the company to
actively market and sell their products to gambling venues in
the state of Nevada. Sona Mobile's solution allow people to
participate in wired or wireless wagering within the casino
property. The back end of the products help the casinos track
their customers' wagers and gambling behavior, aiding in the
casinos' marketing efforts. The platform, called the Sona Gaming
System™, consists of server
and device software that runs on personal digital assistants
(PDA), mobile phones, tablets and fixed device terminals.
There is no word from Sona Mobile if the
company is already eyeing specific clients. According to company
representatives, the license from the Nevada Gaming Commission
was the first and the most important step of doing business in
the state.
