Indy 500: Race
good to go in Indianapolis
After the rain this morning, the weather is
clearing for the start of Indy-500 and the IndyCar race is on
time.
This
is the first Indy 500 race in which 3 out of the total 33 cars
will be driven by women. Danica Patrick, 25, Became the first
woman to lead the Indy 500 in 2005 and finished fourth and today
she starts at 8th pole position. Sarah Fisher, 26 is making her
seventh appearance at Indy 500, her best finish was 21st
in 2004. Fisher will start 21st. Milka Duno, 35, is the first
Hispanic woman to compete at Indy 500 and will start 29th.
Odds on the women to win the Indy 500 are:
Patrick - 12/1
Fisher - 200/1
Duno - 15/1
Favorite to be the winner of Indy 500 is Dan Wheldon
