Hilton Casino employees next to reject
unionization in AC
The employees of the Atlantic City Hilton
Casino Resort have rejected unionization with the United Auto
Workers (UAW).
The
dealers at Hilton casino voted down the proposal 316 to 268 on
Saturday, despite the drive at the Atlantic City 11 casinos to
join the UAW. Earlier this month the Trump Marina Hotel Casino
dealers also rejected unionization. In March employees of
Caesars Atlantic City and Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino voted for
joining the UAW.
Workers at Bally's Atlantic City will vote
next, scheduled for June 2nd.
