US Open 2007 Golf: Round 3, Cabrera not the favorite

Entering the third round of the 2007 US-Open, Tiger Woods is still the favorite to win, and not Cabrera.

US Open 2007 Golf: Round 3, Cabrera not the favorite One can say that the winner of this year US Open Golf Championship is the Oakmont golf course. Although Angel Cabrera sits at the top of the leaderboard to par, many oddsmakers believe that he simply did not made as many mistakes as the rest of the golfers did on Friday.

Entering round three of the US Open, Tiger Woods is still the favorite to win the Championship with odds of 16/5, according to the British online bookmaker Bet365 (official website). Justin Rose, who is tied third with 2-over par, is Wood's competitor with odds of 15/2.

And only after these two golfers come Angel Cabrera with betting odds of 9/1. Cabrera is currently the lone leader with even followed by Bubba Watson.

Bubba Watson has been holding steadily the second place on the US Open leaderboard since the start of the golf competition, but his odds have not improved at all - Bet365 will pay out £16 to every £1 bet on Watson.

Interesting bet offers by the U.K. bookmaker: for he 2007 US Open 3rd round, six shooter winner odds:

Tiger Woods 7/4 Bet
Jim Furyk 10/3 Bet
Geoff Ogilvy 5/1 Bet
David Toms 11/2 Bet
