Volleyball World
League 2007 and odds to win
The volleyball matches in the
pool-play stages of the 2007 World League continue this week on
the 22nd and 23rd.
Three
games will be played on Friday, 22nd, with the most anticipated
being France against Italy in pool B. The teams met twice before
on June 3rd and France won against Italy 0-3, but Italy won the
previous game 3-2. Italy have won only two games so far in the
pool-play for the 2007 World League and the odds are heavily
stacked against them for Friday's match. Italy is currently
third with 8 points in the standings, following France with 13
points and U.S.A. with 14.
The British bookmaker
Bet365 has the following
betting odds on the Friday's games:
France (2/5) - Italy (7/4)
Korea (odds 5/7) - Finland (odds 1/1)
Egypt (10/3) - Serbia (1/5)
Tomorrow Bulgaria will meet Poland in
pool D. Both teams are with 16 points in the pool, but the odds
favor the Bulgarians at 1/2 compared with Poland 6/4 to win this
pool game in the 2007 Volleyball World League.
