Nancy Benoit and
Daniel may have been murdered by Chris Benoit
According to Atlanta police,
one of the versions surrounding the death of Chris Benoit, wife
Nancy-Daus and son Daniel is murder-suicide by the WWE wrestler
himself.
Yesterday
the bodies of the pro-wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy
Benoit ("Woman") and his 7-year old son Daniel, were found in
their Atlanta, Georgia home. The police came to Benoit's house
in Fayette County around 2:30 pm, after missing several
appointments, leading to concerns.

Investigators believe Benoit, killed his
wife and son over the weekend and then himself sometime Monday.
The bodies were found Monday afternoon in three different rooms
of the house. Chris was found dead in his weight room, Nancy
Benoit was found in their living room, and their son Daniel was
found dead in his bedroom, according to Fox News.
The house is in a secluded neighborhood
set back about 60 yards off a gravel road, surrounded by stacked
stone wall and a double-iron gate. Authorities were
investigating the deaths at a secluded Fayette County home as a
murder-suicide and were not seeking any suspects.
"We're pretty sure we know, but we want
to confirm it with the crime lab," Fayette County District
Attorney Scott Ballard said early Tuesday. World Wrestling
Entertainment said on its Web site that it asked authorities to
check on Benoit and his family after being alerted by friends
who received "several curious text messages sent by Benoit early
Sunday morning."
The WWE canceled its live "Monday Night
RAW" card in Corpus Christi, Texas, and USA Network aired a
three-hour tribute to Benoit in place of the scheduled wrestling
telecast.
Chris Benoit was born in Montreal,
Canada, but owned a home in Atlanta, Georgia since he started
wrestling with WCW.
Nancy Daus Benoit was a professional
wrestling valet and manager in Extreme Championship Wrestling
and World Championship Wrestling. Nancy Benoit was more commonly
known by her in-ring names as "Woman" and "Fallen Angel". Nancy
Daus and Chris Benoit became engaged in 1997, although Benoit
didn't start referring to Nancy as his wife until shortly before
the birth of their son Daniel. Although she was never an on-air
performer, Nancy Benoit did actively manage her husband's career
from their home in Atlanta.
Chris Benoit has two other kids from a
previous engagement, they are unharmed and by last reports
remain in Canada.
The WWE issued the following statement
Monday night:
"Chris was beloved among his fellow
Superstars, and was a favorite among WWE fans for his
unbelievable athleticism and wrestling ability. He always took
great pride in his performance, and always showed respect for
the business he loved, for his peers and towards his fans. This
is a terrible tragedy and an unbearable loss. WWE extends its
sincere condolences and prayers to the Benoit family and loved
ones in this time of tragedy."
