Lindsay Lohan arrested on DUI and drug possession charges

The troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was booked again on suspicion of driving drunk and cocaine possession, less than 2 week out of rehab.

Lindsay Lohan arrested on DUI and drug possession charges Lindsay Lohan has been arrested again for suspicion of drunken driving and possession of cocaine. Lohan was booked by the California police, after a frightened woman called 911 to report that she is being chased by Lohan's SUV.

The woman who called 911 was the mother of Lindsay Lohan's former assistant, not realizing it was Lindsay behind her. When the cops arrived at the scene, the women were involved in a heated argument. Apparently sobriety test was refused by Lindsay Lohan, but one was administered in the police station.

According to Sgt. Shane Talbot, Lindsay Lohan had a blood alcohol level between 0.12 and 0.13 percent when police got to her just after midnight, with California legal limit at 0.8 percent. During a pre-booking search, police found cocaine in one of Lohan's pants pockets. According to the police, Lindsay Lohan was booked on two misdemeanor charges of suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended license and two felony charges of possession of cocaine and transport of a narcotic.

Lohan attorney Blair Berk said her client had relapsed and was again receiving medical care, blaming addiction for the incident.

What a payout for the lucky entertainment bettors, as Lindsay Lohan had the odds of 11/2 by the bookmaker Bodog Sports (new window) to be the next arrested on DUI charges.
