Neteller
withdrawal option for U.S. customers now working
After months of
interest-free hold on the millions of dollars belonging to U.S.
citizens, Neteller is finally paying out.
The once leader in online gambling transactions Neteller PLC is
now processing withdrawals. The U.S. customers of the troubled
company can now log in to their accounts and request a
withdrawal of the funds being held for months by Neteller. Here
is the process:
Log in to your Neteller account
Request a withdrawal
During the request you would be asked to
confirm your mailing address and your bank account details. If
any or both have changed, you would be given the option to
change them.
Before you request the withdrawal, however,
Neteller forces you to accept an agreement, part of which reads:
You and NETELLER Plc Group (each, a
“Releasing Party”) mutually release, waive, and discharge each
other (each, a “Released Party”) from any and all manner of
actions, causes of action, suits, promises, damages, judgments,
executions, claims, counterclaims, demands, and any other form
of liability whatsoever, in law or equity, known or unknown,
that the Releasing Party ever had, now has, or hereafter can,
shall, or may have against the Released Party from the date You
opened Your Account to the Effective Date with respect to Your
request to receive funds under the Distribution Plan and Your
Account.
This means that if you have any plans of
suing the company for any reason, you would forfeit this option
by withdrawing your money.
Neteller claims that the funds will arrive
at your bank account within three business days, but be advised
that the company warns it may take longer due to the increased
volume of transactions about to be made. The cut-off date for
withdrawal requests is January 26th 2008.
