Google Sky added
to the new Earth version
The new Google Earth 4.2
(beta) version now features Google Sky.
Google
is often criticized that the the company have started to pay
more attention to the bottom line, rather than their users,
raking up profits higher than any other Internet company. But
here is yet another great tool added, which seems to have no
money avenue - Google Sky.
The new beta version of Google Earth now
comes with a nifty button, which allows you to switch the Earth
upside down and see images of more than one million stars and
200 million galaxies. Add-ons allow users to explore images from
the Hubble Space Telescope, as well.
The clear images of the cosmos are a
welcome tool to many amateur astronomers who live in areas where
the air and light pollution makes it almost impossible to
observe the skies. To use the new Google Sky all you have to do
is download the latest Google Earth version. Go get it at
