Atlanta Falcons
odds and betting lines
Unknown future for
Michael Vick this season, the Atlanta Falcons betting lines and
odds of winning decreasing.
The
worst thing that could happen to the Atlanta Falcons this year
is Michael Vick to be left on the sidelines for the season. He
remains the major unknown when the sportsbooks prepare their
betting lines and odds on winning the football competitions.
You probably know all about the legal
troubles surrounding the record-setting quarterback (1,039
rushing yards last NFL season), as we covered it quite
extensively here at OGPaper.com, and although he had to miss the
training camp, his future remains unknown.
The new coach Bobby Petrino, who came
from Louisville, would have a hard time finding an equal
substitute for Vick if he has to. But Alge Crumpler, Warrick
Dunn and Jerious Norwood will certainly be present, and with the
addition of the ex-Raven Ovie Mughelli, the Falcons will still
be looking to reach the Super Bowl.
The Preseason didn't start as good for
the Falcons, losing to the New York Jets 31-16. Joey Harrington
went 6-for-9 for 88 yards, while Jason Snelling had ten carries
for 48 yards for the Falcons. Following the opener, however, the
Atlanta Falcons signed wide receiver Otis Amey and quarterback
Casey Bramlet and waived quarterback Lang Campbell.

The betting odds and lines on the
Atlanta Falcons moved quite a bit in the past week, but now they
seem settled. With Michael Vick still a big unknown for the
team, the betting companies are quite cautions with the lines
and odds they post. Still, there is plenty of room for some
serious payouts with the odds posted by the online website
