NFL Point Spread:
Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts
NFL Week 14 is upon us and today we will begin our
football odds and point spread preview with the Denver Broncos
vs. Indianapolis Colts game. The Colts (12-0) have already
clinched the AFC South and on Sunday will face the Broncos (8-4)
in an attempt to secure home field advantage in the playoffs, as
well. Indianapolis is just a win away from the home field and
the Sunday game against Denver could put the team in a relaxed
mood if victory is achieved and the Colts will begin to prepare
for the road to the Super Bowl 2010. But the Week 14 NFL game is
just as important for the Broncos, if not more. Denver is
currently atop the AFC wild card playoff race and a victory on
the road against the Colts will truly cement their Super Bowl
desire.
But despite the plenty of questionable
Indianapolis players the odds makers at the popular sports
betting website
Bookmaker are heavily sided with the Colts for
the Week 14 football match-up. At the betting site the odds are
favoring the Colts at -315 while the Broncos will come out at
Lucas Oil Stadium as +265 underdog to win the Week 14 game. The
Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts point spread is currently
at -7 points chalk the Colts and the total listed by the
sportsbook is at 44 points even. Keep in mind that Denver is 4-2
against the spread in its last 6 games on the road, but
Indianapolis has covered the point spread four times in its last
5 games when playing at home against Denver. Also worth
mentioning is the fact that the total has gone OVER in 5 of
Denver's last 5 games when playing Indianapolis.
At Denver only safety David Bruton is
listed as questionable for the game against the Colts with the
rest of the players, including running back Josh Barrett,
upgraded to probable for the Week 14 game. Meanwhile in
Indianapolis running back Donald Brown, corner Aaron Francisco
and wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez are all out for the Sunday
football game against the Broncos, but the list doesn't stop
there. A lot of Colts players remain questionable for this
important match-up, among them defensive ends Keyunta Dawson and
Robert Mathis, defensive tackle Daniel Muir, linebacker Clint
Session and a long list of other Indianapolis tackles. The
Broncos - Colts game will start at 1:00pm EST and betting is
available at these
sportsbooks.
