Indianapolis Colts
vs. Tennessee Titans: Line and point spread
It's
Thursday, time for the NFL Week 11 opener Indianapolis Colts vs.
Tennessee Titans and here you will find the latest line and
point spread on the tonight's football game. The start of Week
11 will be an AFC South battle between the top two teams in the
division. The Indianapolis Colts (6-3) are currently in the
lead, but the Tennessee Titans (4-5) have the opportunity to
blow open the race to the first position in the AFC South
tonight and affirm their goal of securing NFL playoff home field
advantage. A must win game for both football franchises and will
make for an excellent Thursday night football game. So let's go
ahead and look at the money line and point spread on the Colts
Titans game and follow up with some stats on the two teams.
For the Indianapolis at Tennessee game we
visited two of the most popular online sportsbooks -
Bookmaker and
Bovada Sports, only to find
that the spread, and especially the line, on the Thursday
night game, are quite different depending on which sportsbook
you choose. At both odds makers the the Colts line is the
favorite, long with the spread. But at Bovada we find the Colts
a big favorite with -155 money line to win the game, while at
Bookmaker the line on Indianapolis is just -135. Similar
difference for the underdog Titans, who are +135 to win at
Bovada, yet only +115 to deliver upset at Bookmaker. So pick
your sportsbook depending on which team you think will win as
the difference in the payout of the money line is quite
substantial. The Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans
point spread is currently at -3 points chalk the Colts at
Bovada and -2.5 points at Bookmaker. The over under on the game
is 42.5 points at both odds makers.
The stats show that Tennessee is 3-6
against the spread in its last 9 games when playing
Indianapolis, but the Colts have covered the spread only twice
2-5 in their last 7 games when playing on the road against the
Titans. Also in the stats we find that the total has gone UNDER
in 13 of Indianapolis's last 16 games when playing Tennessee. In
the end, the Colts have won right out of the last 9 games when
playing the Titans, keep that in mind, if betting the money
line. Team stats show that while both NFL franchises allow on
average 21 points and change, the Colts usually scores on
average 24.7 points against the Titans 22.2 average.
As far as injuries are concerned, the
Tennessee Titans are clearly in worse position. Starting
quarterback Jake Locker is out for the season with foot injury,
a big problem for the Titans for the remainder of the NFL
season. In addition, Tennessee will play without corner Tommie
Campbell, linebacker Moise Fokou and wide receiver Damian
Williams, while another linebacker, Zaviar Gooden, is
questionable with hamstring injury. For the Colts, corners Josh
Gordy and Gregory Toler are out for Week 11, as is safety Delano
Howell, but defensive tackle Josh Chapman was upgraded to
probable for the game against the Titans tonight.
