US Open Odds:
Tiger Woods still odds favorite despite leaderboard
A few hours into the 2009 US Open Golf Championship and a
quick look at the odds show that Tiger Woods is still the
favorite to win the US Open for the 4th time, despite his
position on the leaderboard. Early into the 2009 US Open, Tiger
Woods is EVEN on hole #4 and remains the top odds-on favorite to
win the Championship with odds 13/8 at the online sportsbook
Bodog Sports. The US Open odds on Phil Mickelson were cut down
to 10/1 at the online sportsbook, while Geoff Ogilvy is sitting
on 14/1 odds to win the 2009 US open.
Sim, Leonard and Parr are currently tied
up for the first spot on the US Open leaderboard after a couple
of hours of play. But as it always goes with Tiger Woods on the
major golf tournaments, he will not show his real strength at
the beginning of the tourney, so don't write him off just yet.
And with 13/8 odds to win the 2009 US Open, Tiger Woods is still
paying out on relatively good betting odds. You can bet live on
the 2009 US Open at the online sportsbook
Bodog Sports or visit
the bookmaker to check the latest 2009 US Open odds. As usual we
will continue to monitor the US Open odds, the progress of the
top favorites, as well as bring you the latest leaderboard
rankings.
