Week 3 odds and
spread: Lions vs. Eagles, Colts - Texans and Vikings vs. Chiefs
Our NFL Week 3 segment
continues with the betting odds and point spread on the games
between the Detroit Lions vs. Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis
Colts vs. Houston Texans and the Minnesota Vikings at Kansas
City.
The
first NFL Week 3 game we will take a look into is the Detroit
Lions (2-0) vs. the Philadelphia Eagles (0-2). After
a great performance by the Lions at Minnesota and an awful game
by McNabb for the Eagles last loss against the Redskins, much
will be ridding on the outcome of this football game for both
teams. The betting company
Bookmaker
is favoring the Philadelphia Eagles to win on Sunday
with odds -250, compared to the Detroit Lions posted at +210.
The Eagles are -5.5 chalk against the spread and the total
is set at 44 points. Previous betting trends show that
Philadelphia is 5-1 against the spread in its last 6 games when
playing Detroit and the total has gone UNDER in 5 of
Philadelphia's last 7 games at home.
At 1:00pm on Sunday the Indianapolis
Colts (2-0) will visit the Houston Texans (2-0), who
are shocking the experts with their great record this season and
some even pick the Texans to beat the Colts this weekend. If
that happens, the payout will be pretty decent, considering the
odds on the Houston Texans are +235 and on the Indianapolis
Colts -275 at
Bookmaker. The Colts are
also listed point spread favorite -7.5 with a total sitting
at 47 points. Indianapolis is 5-1 against the spread in its last
6 games and the total has gone UNDER in 5 of Indianapolis's last
6 games. The Texans are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games with the
total OVER in 5 of Houston's last 7 games.
In Week 3 the Kansas City Chiefs
(0-2) will welcome the Minnesota Vikings (1-1) at
Arrowhead Stadium. This football game could swing either way,
thus making for a small payout. The Kansas City Chiefs hold the
betting odds of -160 and the Minnesota Vikings are listed with
odds +140. Currently the spread favors the Chiefs -3 points
and the total for the game is posted at 33.5 points. Past
numbers show that Minnesota is 3-8-1 against the spread in its
last 12 games and the total has gone OVER in 4 of Minnesota's
last 5 games when playing Kansas City.
