Atlanta Falcons
with rookies after Todd Weiner surgery
Atlanta Falcons right tackle
Todd Weiner will be out of the team for at least two weeks after
knee surgery.
Tough
times for the already struggling Atlanta Falcons (1-4) after the
right tackle Todd Weiner had a knee surgery this morning and
will be on the sidelines for at least two weeks. Yesterday the
Falcons confirmed that left tackle Wayne Gandy will be out for
the rest of the season, also due to knee injury and this will
make rookie Renardo Foster and second-year Tyson Clabo the
starting tackles for the upcoming game against the New York
Giants (3-2) on Monday. Left guard position will also be filled
by rookie Justin Blalock. Renardo Foster signed this year as
undrafted from Louisville and the Monday game will be his first
start with the Atlanta Falcons.
The Atlanta Falcons are currently
underdog for the Monday night football game against the Giants
with odds +160, Giants with odds -190 at
Bookmaker. The point spread for
the Falcons vs. Giants game is currently at -3 points chalk the
NY Giants, but with a payline of -125 is bound to adjust upwards
in the coming days.
