College Football: Illinois lost to Iowa, Ohio State covers enormous spread

Some of the Week 7 college football most bet on games are over with surprising results.

The sportsbooks are looking forward to a good start this college football week, with Illinois failing to win at Iowa and Ohio State securing 7th victory this season. Illinois vs. Iowa final result was 6-10 and disappointed many of the bettors working the spread. As we posted at our early-bird point spread Illinois was -3.5 chalk at Bookmaker and only a few punters bet on the Iowa to cover the +3.5 spread. Even few placed a wager on the +155 odds on Iowa winning the game and the total was listed at 44 points with a final total of only 16.

Ohio State won against Kent State 3-48 and successfully covered the -30 point spread. Betting odds on Ohio State and a few people dared to include this game in their parlays. Would Kent State been successful, it would have paid the bettors 2,500 for every 100. Meanwhile Georgia Tech covered the +2.5 spread against Miami by winning the game 17-14. The game was UNDER the total of 44.
