J.K. Rowling confirmed during a meeting with fans at Carnegie Hall that Dumbledore is indeed gay, effectively bringing the fictional character out of the closet.

To make the drama even more intense - Dumbledore has had a little "som'thin'-som'thin'" with rival Grindelwald. "Falling in love can blind us to an extent," Rowling was quoted saying, adding that Dumbledore was "horribly, terribly let down." Christian groups have always discredited Harry Potter's books, claiming the promote witchcraft and now they will get even more ammo to work with. Makes you wonder who is taking the bets on Quidditch game-day...
