between West Virginia (6-1) and Rutgers (5-2).

Virginia Mountaineers as favorite to win the Saturday opener
with odds -250 and the hosting Rutgers have the betting odds
+210. The point spread on the West Virginia vs. Rutgers
is posted at -6 chalk the Mountaineers and the total is at 57
points. West Virginia is 11-4 against the spread in its last 15
games on the road and have won five of the last five games
against the Rutgers.
The Mountaineers are leading the Big East
in total defense with only 274.1 yards per game and also lead
the division by points scored with 42.1 points on average per
game. For West Virginia questionable for Week 9 remains LB
Archie Sims, but RB Noel Devine have been upgraded to probable.
Rutgers quarterback Mike Teel is day-to-day, but DB Ron Girault
and RB Kordell Young are still questionable for the Saturday
game.
And finally a quick look at the South
Carolina (6-2) vs. Tennessee (4-3). At

are favorite with betting odds -160 and South Carolina will
visit as underdogs with odds +140. The point spread on the
South Carolina vs. Tennessee game favors the Volunteers -3
points with total at 53 points. South Carolina is 9-1 against
