Point spread:
Boston College vs. Clemson, Oklahoma vs. Texas Tech
Odds and point spread on the
college football games from Week 12 Boston College vs. Clemson
and Oklahoma vs. Texas Tech.
In
our final point spread and odds preview of the Week 12 of
college football we will start with the No.18 Boston College
(8-2) visiting the No. 15 Clemson (8-2). Boston College
lost their last game 35-42 to Maryland and when they face their
Atlantic Division rival on Saturday, the bookies expect the same
results. At the online sportsbook
Bodog Sports the point
spread on the Boston College vs. Clemson game favors the
Tigers -7.5 points and at
Bookmaker the odds on the
visiting Eagles are set at +255 and Clemson is also favorite
with betting odds -305. Betting trends indicate that Boston
College is 2-4 against the spread in its last 6 games on the
road and Clemson is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games.
At Boston College, questionable for the
match-up remain LBs Jolonn Dunbar and Tyronne Pruitt, both with
ankle injuries, as well as safety Wes Davis. But Clemson has its
share of linebacker problems, as well, Scotty Cooper and Brandon
Maye are both questionable for the game against Boston College.
Clemson's DB Chris Wade and QB Willy Korn are out indefinitely.
Clemson did a number on Wake Forest last week, winning the game
10-44 and everything points to another victory for the Tigers in
Week 12, even though the last time the two teams met, Boston
College won 34-33.
When the No.3 Oklahoma (9-1) goes
to meet Texas Tech (7-4) this weekend, the odds makers
are predicting even easier victory for the Sooners. At
Bodog Sports the point
spread on the Oklahoma vs. Texas Tech game is posted at -8.5
points chalk the Sooners and the betting odds at Bookmaker also
favor Oklahoma with a money line -290, compared to Texas Tech at
+240. Oklahoma is 1-5 against the spread in its last 6 games,
but Texas Tech is 1-4 against the spread in its last 5 games
when playing at home against Oklahoma. When these college
football teams met last year, the Sooners won 34-24.
The Big 12 will be the aim of Oklahoma,
and with Texas breathing down their neck, the Sooners would
hardly let Tech edge on them this Saturday. The Red Raiders
could be in an even worse position, with wide receivers Lyle
Leong and Todd Walker still questionable for the game against
Oklahoma. Sooners DT Steven Coleman is questionable, but DE
Auston English has been upgraded to probable.
