The odds on Miss China to win the 2007 Miss World have been drastically slashed over the week.

Initially, Miss China was listed with odds 13/2 at the licensed British bookmaker Bet 365, ranking her second by odds, after Miss Dominican Republic, who was 4/1 favorite to win the 2007 Miss World. But as bettors swarm the 13/2 odds over the past couple of days, the odds on Miss China to win the Miss World title were quickly cut down to 7/4, and even at these short odds, Miss China remains the favorite bet and further nip-tuck is expected.

Meanwhile, Miss Dominican Republic remains with odds 4/1 to win the 2007 Miss World title, placing her second on the betting sheet at Bet 365. Miss Puerto Rico is still listed with odds 12/1 but Miss Jamaica was downgraded to 14/1. The odds offered on Miss USA also took a dive, from 14/1 initially, now down to 22/1. Miss Mexico was cut from 16/1 to 18/1 and Miss Lithuania retains her odds of 14/1 to become the next Miss World. Betting on 2007 Miss World is definitely heating up and the odds are moving like crazy - get in on the action before the contest tomorrow.
