NFL Point
Spread: Chargers vs. Chiefs, Seahawks vs. Eagles
The point spread and odds on
the NFL games San Diego Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs and
Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles.
We
continue our point spread and betting odds preview of the
upcoming NFL games in Week 13 with the Sunday matchup between
the San Diego Chargers (6-5) and the Kansas City
Chiefs (4-7). While the Chargers still have excellent chance
to make the playoffs this season, the Chiefs are sitting towards
the bottom of the AFC Standings. And despite the fact that, when
the two NFL teams met this season in September, Kansas City won
the game 30-16, the point spread on the San Diego Chargers
vs. Kansas City Chiefs matchup is currently posted as -7
points chalk the Chargers at the online betting firm
Bodog Sports, with total
expected at 38 points. The Chiefs will be underdog with betting
odds +225 and the Chargers are odds favorite with line -265 at
the bookie. Note that San Diego is 1-6 against the spread in its
last 7 games on the road and Kansas City is 1-4-1 against the
spread in its last 6 games at home. The total has gone UNDER in
4 of San Diego's last 6 games when playing Kansas City.
The next NFL Week 13 game will match up
the Seattle Seahawks (7-4) and the struggling
Philadelphia Eagles (5-6). With a three-game winning streak
the Seahawks hold the lead in the NFC West standings and they
have to play extremely bad in the remaining games in order to
lose the playoff spot. A loss against the Eagles could be
stomached and Philadelphia, despite losing the game, proved last
week that the Patriots have not secured a Super Bowl title. The
last time the Seahawks played against the Eagles was in 2005 and
Seattle won the game 42-0. But that was a long time ago and at
Bodog Sports the point spread on the Seattle Seahawks vs.
Philadelphia Eagles is favoring the Eagles -3 points with
the total sitting at 41.5 points. The odds on the Eagles are
-180 and the Seahawks hold the underdog line +160. Betting
trends show that Seattle is 4-1 against the spread in its last 5
games and Philadelphia is also 4-1 against the spread in its
last 5 games. The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Philadelphia's
last 7 games at home.
