Reggie Bush for the rest of the season.
The
New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush had suffered a
partially torn left knee ligament and this injury could be a
season-ender for the RB. The injury will not require surgery and
will heal on its own, but according to some reports, Reggie Bush
could be sent home for the rest of the season, not risking
aggravating the knee. Saints head coach Sean Payton did not
confirm the rumors of season-ending injury, but said he will
list Bush as questionable for the Monday night football game
against the Atlanta Falcons and the running back will be a
game-day decision. The Saints will play the Atlanta Falcons on
Monday at the Georgia Dome and despite Reggie Bush injury, New
Orleans remains -4.5 points favorite against the spread at the
online bookmaker
Bodog Sports.
"We'll monitor where he's at. I'm still
hopeful for this weekend's game based on how he practiced
yesterday," coach Payton was quoted on Friday. Reggie Bush
practice on Thursday, but after that his knee got swollen and an
MRI showed a partially torn left knee ligament, and the Saints
running back sat out Friday's practice.
