Point spread and line:
Cardinals vs. Saints, Ravens vs. Dolphins
Betting preview with the line
and point spread on the Week 15 football games Arizona Cardinals
vs. New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens vs. Miami Dolphins.
We
will start this betting preview with the two teams still in the
race for a playoff spot, the matchup between the Arizona
Cardinals (6-7) and the New Orleans Saints (6-7).
There are plenty of ways for these two football teams to end up
in the playoffs in the NFC, but the most likely scenario remains
the chase after the Minnesota Vikings, who currently hold the
second wild card, a game ahead of the Cardinals and the Saints,
which makes the Sunday game a must win for either team. Although
with equal record so far this season, the list of injuries in
the Arizona camp has made the Saints a favorite at the online
odds makers. The betting firm
Bodog Sports has listed the
point spread on the Arizona Cardinals vs. New Orleans Saints
game at -3.5 points chalk the Saints with total expected sitting
at 48 points. New Orleans is also the betting favorite at
another betting site,
Bookmaker has posted the line
on the Saints at -195 and the Cardinals are underdog with
betting line +165.
At New Orleans only running back Reggie
Bush was listed out for the Week 15 game, but the Cardinals will
visit New Orleans banged up. Arizona wide receiver Anquan Boldin
missed Wednesday practice, as well as defensive end Ross
Kolodziej and linebacker Monty Beisel. Limited Wednesday
practice in Arizona had quarterback Kurt Warner, wide receiver
Larry Fitzgerald and linebacker Karlos Dansby. If all of these
Cardinals key-players miss the Sunday game against the Saints,
New Orleans has a great chance of covering the spread and moving
a game closer to the playoffs. Keep in mind that New Orleans is
5-11 against the spread in its last 16 games and Arizona is 3-6
against the spread in its last 9 games when playing New Orleans.
The other NFL Week 15 game we will look
into doesn't have much at stake but the Miami Dolphins
(0-13) trying to keep away from winless season, when they
welcome the Baltimore Ravens (4-9) on Sunday. Considering
the way things have been going for the Dolphins this season, it
comes as no surprise that they will be once again underdog at
home against a weak football team. At Bodog Sports the point
spread on the Baltimore Ravens vs. Miami Dolphins is
favoring the Ravens -4 points with the total sitting at 37.5
points. The line on the Ravens at Bookmaker is posted at -195
and the line on the Dolphins is +165.
The Dolphins have a very small chance of
wining this Sunday, even though at Baltimore wide receiver
Demetrius Williams will miss the game, tight end Todd Heap
missed practice and cornerback Samari Rolle, safety Gerome
Sapp and three defensive tackles had a limited practice. But
limited Wednesday practice for the Dolphins had running backs
Jesse Chatman and Patrick Cobbs, CB Michael Lehan, DE Matt Roth,
LB Channing Crowder, as well as two defensive tackles - Vonnie
Holliday and Keith Traylor. Miami is 1-4 against the spread in
its last 5 games, but Baltimore is 1-6 against the spread in its
last 7 games.
