NFL lines and point spread: Titans vs. Colts, 49ers vs. Browns

The betting preview with point spread and lines of the NFL final games Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers vs. Cleveland Browns.

NFL lines and point spread: Titans vs. Colts, 49ers vs. Browns We will start the preview of the final regular season NFL games with the battle for the last AFC playoff wild card spot. The Cleveland Browns and the Tennessee Titans are the two AFC teams fighting for the last remaining playoff spot and the Sunday football games will decide everything, more precisely, the game between the Tennessee Titans (9-6) and the Indianapolis Colts (13-2). Thanks to the importance of the game, it was moved to Sunday night and will start at 8:15pm EST. If the Titans win the game, they will secure the sixth playoff spot in the AFC, no matter the result of the Browns game, and if the Titans lose to the Colts, Cleveland is going to the playoffs. With such high stakes, it comes as little surprise that the Titans are the favorite to win the NFL game on Sunday. At the online sportsbook Bodog Sports, the point spread on the Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts is sitting at -4.5 points chalk Tennessee with the total at 39.5 points. At Bookmaker, the betting line on the Titans is -250 and the line on the Colts is +210, the first time Indianapolis has underdog line in months.

But winning on the road against the Colts will be no easy task for Tennessee. Indianapolis has secured the second playoff spot, but as a defending Super Bowl champs, they will avoid simply giving up the game to the Titans. Payton Manning will likely rest for the playoffs and this will test the Colts, along with a long list of injuries, including wide receivers Anthony Gonzalez and Marvin Harrison, cornerbacks Antoine Bethea, Keiwan Ratliff and Tim Jennings, tight end Ben Utecht and defensive end Robert Mathis, all listed as questionable for the NFL Week 17 game. For Tennessee questionable remain only CB Nicholas Harper and LB Gilbert Gardner. Keep in mind that Tennessee is 10-4 against the spread in its last 14 games on the road and Indianapolis is 7-2 against the spread in its last 9 games at home. The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Indianapolis's last 6 games when playing at home against Tennessee.

A little earlier on Sunday the San Francisco 49ers (5-10) will visit the Cleveland Browns (9-6) for a game with nothing to win or lose. After failing to secure the playoff spot last week against the Bengals, the outcome of the game against the 49ers would not reflect on who will get the AFC playoff spot - the Browns, just like the Titans, depend on the outcome of the Colts game and Cleveland will automatically get the 6th AFC playoff spot if Tennessee fails to deliver against the Colts. Still, the odds makers believe that the Browns will give 100% at the Sunday game, and at Bookmaker, the point spread on the San Francisco 49ers vs. Cleveland Browns game is favoring the Browns -12 points with the total sitting at 40.5 points The betting line on the Browns favors them +475 and the line on the 49ers is -600 to beat Cleveland on Sunday. Long list of injured San Francisco players will aid to the spread, including quarterbacks Trent Dilfer and Shaun Hill, and Chris Weinke will be the 49ers' fourth starting quarterback this season. Betting trends show that San Francisco is 3-7 against the spread in its last 10 games and Cleveland is 8-2 against the spread in its last 10 games. The total has gone OVER in 4 of San Francisco's last 6 games on the road and OVER in 5 of Cleveland's last 7 games at home.
