NBA odds: Pistons
vs. Wizards, Chicago at Charlotte
Betting preview with odds and
point spread of the Wednesday NBA games Detroit Pistons vs.
Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls vs. Charlotte Bobcats.
We
start the NBA odds and spread preview with on of the hottest
games the Wednesday basketball line-up has to offer, the
Detroit Pistons (24-7) and their visit to the Washington
Wizards (15-14). The fact that the game will take place at
the Verizon Center does little to improve the odds on the
Wizards. At the online sportsbook
Bookmaker, the Pistons will be
once again the favorite team to win the NBA game, listed with
odds of -215 and the Wizards will be underdog with betting odds
+185 to win the matchup. The point spread on the Detroit Pistons
vs. Washington Wizards game is currently sitting at -5 points
chalk the Pistons and the total is set at 193 points. Detroit
has won 5 and is 5-0 against the spread in its last 5 games.
Meanwhile Washington has won 9 and is 9-4 against the
spread in its last 13 games at home. Keep in mind that
Washington is 5-2 against the spread in its last 7 games when
playing the Pistons and the total has gone OVER in 4 of
Washington's last 5 games when playing at home against Detroit.
Stats to consider include that Detroit has the second stingiest
defence in the league at 89.3 points per game and second best in
the league in field goal percentage against allowing 43.3. The
Washington Wizards allow the most three points made in the
league with 8.1 per game.
At the same time the Chicago Bulls
(11-18) will visit the Charlotte Bobcats (11-18) in what
will be one of the tight betting games of the NBA schedule
tonight. Chicago is the second lowest scoring team in the league
at 92.8 points per game and has the worst field goal percentage
in the league with just 41.7. These stats seem to do little to
benefit the Bobcats and at Bookmaker the Bulls are the favorite
team tonight with odds on winning the game -120 and Charlotte is
paying out EVEN. The point spread on the Chicago Bulls vs.
Charlotte Bobcats is currently favoring the Bulls -1 point and
the total expected in the game is 191.5 points. Chicago has lost
4 of the last 6 games and the Bulls are 3-7 against the spread
in their last 10 games. The Charlotte Bobcats, however, are 4-12
against the spread in their last 16 games. Keep in mind that the
total has gone UNDER in 4 of Charlotte's last 6 games when
playing at home against Chicago.
