Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals preview and spread The Big 12 Tournament continues on Friday from the Sprint Center in Kansas City with the Round 2 quarterfinal games. The first game in the Big 12 Tournament line-up will match No.9 Oklahoma State and No.1 seed Texas, and the Longhorns are naturally the big favorite today. At the online bookmaker BodogLife Texas is listed with odds -330 to win the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinal game and the Oklahoma State Cowboys are underdog with odds to win at +265. The point spread on the Texas vs. Oklahoma State game is sitting at -7 points chalk the Longhorns with the total at only 132 points.

 The Big 12 Tournament will continue Friday with the quarterfinal game between Colorado (beating  Baylor 84-91 in second overtime yesterday) and Oklahoma. The point spread at BodogLife is currently favoring the Oklahoma Sooners -8.5 points with the total expected posted at 119 points. Keep in mind that Oklahoma is 11-5 against the spread in its last 16 games when playing Colorado and the total has gone UNDER in 5 of Oklahoma's last 5 games. Colorado has no injuries to reports, but Oklahoma's Blake Griffen remains day-to-day with knee injury.

 Another Big 12 Tournament favorite today is the second-seeded Kansas for the quarterfinal game against seventh seed Nebraska. Nebraska has won 5 of its last 7 games, but the Cornhuskers are 0-5 against the spread (and 0-5 SU) in its last 5 games when playing Kansas. Another betting trend to keep in mind - the total has gone OVER in 5 of Kansas's last 5 games when playing Nebraska. Kansas, third in the league in field goal percentage at 50.6, has no injuries reported, but Nebraska's guard Cookie Miller is day-to-day after a shoulder injury.

 The final Big 12 Tournament game tonight will match up Texas A&M, having no problem against Iowa State last night for the final 60-47, with Kansas State, in what appears to be the best Big 12 quarterfinal game. The point spread on the Texas A&M vs. Kansas State is sitting at only -1 point chalk Kansas State and the total is at 136 points. Texas A&M is 3-8 SU in its last 11 games when playing Kansas State and 1-4 against the spread in its last 5 games when playing the Wildcats. The Aggies have no injuries on the sheet, but Kansas State Davis Hoskins is out for the season with knee injury.
