Las Vegas casinos
battle the economy with special offers
With spring season in full swing, the Las Vegas casinos
should be overbooked for months to come. But thanks to the
current state of the U.S. economy, the casinos on the Las Vegas
Strip find themselves fighting for the decreasing traffic
towards the capital of gambling. With revenues declining for the
second month in a row and less people thinking about a Las Vegas
vacation, now is the best time for those who can afford it to
visit the gambling Mecca. According to a report coming from the
WSJ, room rates at the Las Vegas Strip casinos are expected to
decline 23% through May 3rd. Big casinos along the Strip
now offer spring specials below the $100 mark - New York, New
York casino hotel is offering spring rates of $89 per night and
at the Luxor you can book a package for as low as $69 a night.
If you had plans to go do some gambling at the Las Vegas casinos
this year, right now is the best time to do so.
