Miley Cyrus apologizes for long list of racy photos Miley Cyrus, the 15-year-old star of Disney's Hannah Montana, continues to keep parents in a loop with sets of racy and sexy pictures of the young star coming out. First we saw pics of Miley Cyrus in underwear, then came the set of racy photos of the young Hannah Montana star showing off her bra, caught in provocative poses with a male friend (see links to the picture scandals at the bottom) and now - another round of sexy photos due to be published in Vanity Fair magazine. In the new pictures, taken by celeb photographer Annie Leibovitz, Miley Cyrus appears wrapped in a blanket, apparently topless.

"I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about," Miley Cyrus said in a statement after the pressure over the new set of pictures was on. The Disney Channel was also quick to accuse the magazine in manipulation of the young star, releasing the following in a short statement: "A situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines." Vanity Fair defended itself by saying that Miley's parents were present on the set of the photo shoot and had the chance to see all of the pictures taken. "Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley," the magazine said.

And while she was at it, issued another apology for the racy photos with the green bra leaked on the Internet: "I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. Most of all, I have let myself down. I will learn from my mistakes and trust my support team. My family and my faith will guide me through my life's journey."

"Hannah Montana" ranks first among TV series of U.S. cable television for children aged 6 to 14 and the fact that racy photos of the 15-year-old star of the show, Miley Cyrus, seem to pop up quite often, parents are beginning to question the Disney's values.
