Scarlett Johansson engaged to Ryan Reynolds Initially starting as just a rumor, it has been confirmed - Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are now engaged. Scarlett Johansson's publicist, Marcel Pariseau, confirmed on today that the young star and her boyfriend Ryan Reynolds are now engaged, although a date for the wedding has not been set yet. In the past Scarlett Johansson has been linked to several Hollywood men, including Josh Hartnett, Justin Timberlake and Jared Leto, while Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds was previously engaged to singer Alanis Morissette, but that arrangement was broken off in early 2007.

The engagement between Johansson and Reynolds is a bit surprising, considering Scarlett Johansson has said in the past that she does not believe in monogamy, and has said that it is not human nature to be with just one person. Obviously Ryan managed to change her view and the two are now officially engaged.
