Eurovision:
Consider Serbia, Bulgaria and Latvia after semi-finals
Only
hours left until the start of the second semi-final of the song
contest Eurovision 2008 and it's time to look ahead to the best
bets. We have seen the first 10 countries chosen for the final
round and tonight another ten will join them after the second
semi-final results are announced. With all the buzz about "bloc
countries" we've decided to give our take on which the best bets
may be for the winner of Eurovision this year. And our top three
picks are Serbia, Bulgaria and Latvia. These are not the
favorite countries to win Eurovision 2008 but they are the best
bets for the money. The British online bookmaker
Bet 365, which we often use for
European odds, has listed today Serbia with odds 11/2, when just
a few days ago Serbia was a favorite along with the Russians.
Now Russia is the top dog with odds 11/4, followed by Ukraine at
5/1 and the Serbia, who was last year' winner. The we'd go with
Bulgaria, who finished fifth last year, now listed with odds to
win at 33/1 and finally Latvia, which offers the best payout out
of our three-country selections with odds 60/1 to win Eurovision
2008 at the British odds maker. Bulgaria and Latvia are
competing today in the second semi-final of Eurovision, but the
chances of these two countries not making it to the final are
pretty slim. Keep in mind that once the second semi-final is
over these odds will change and this may be your last chance to
lock on double-digit odds.
