Diana Bianchi
testifies at Christie Brinkley's divorce trial
The
divorce trial of Christie Brinkley and husband Peter Cook began
today and lover Diana Bianchi took the witness stand to testify.
Bianchi was Cook's assistant whom Brinkley found having an
affair with Cook in 2006. Bianchi, then 18, meet Cook in 2005 at
a Hamptons toy store.
Diana Bianchi was hired by Peter Cook to work at his Hamptons
architecture firm, where she was paid $20,000 to type magazine
articles onto the company's Web site. She said they had sex
about 10 times before the relationship ended later that year.
But it was the testimony of Peter Cook,
which sent the tabloids in a frenzy. Cook said he met Bianchi in
early 2005 when she was working at a Hamptons toy store. Their
affair began that March, around the time he hired Bianchi. Other
then the salary, he also left her cash payments in various
spots: $500 under the rock outside his office; more behind a
painting. Cook also admitted to giving his young mistress
$300,000 for what he explained as "trying to protect himself and
his family from scandal". Earlier into the trial, the fashion
model's lawyer also acquired Cook of spending about $3,000 a
month on pornographic Web sites. "It was wrong and he said it
was wrong," Cook's lawyer, Norman Sheresky, said of the
porn. The divorce drama between the 54-year-old model and Cook
continue will continue with testimony by Alexa Ray Joel,
Christie Brinkley’s daughter with musician Billy Joel, according
to Peter Cook's lawyer.
