Personality of the Year: Rebecca Adlington betting odds favourite
With the race to become BBC Sports Personality of the Year
likely to be harder fought than at any time this century,
William Hill are inviting punters to predict who will finish
first and second and believe that the most likely 1-2
combination is that Rebecca Adlington will beat Lewis Hamilton
for which they offer 9/2. "With the Olympic team producing so
many charismatic gold medal winners but with Lewis Hamilton
still a serious contender for the World title and Andy Murray
still in the running to win a Grand Slam, there are many more
genuine candidates for the honour than for many years", said
Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
