Green Bay Packers
vs. Tennessee Titans point spread and game preview
There were plenty of "stars" at the beginning of the
regular season, but the Tennessee Titians (7-0) remain the only
team in the NFL with a perfect record so far. As we have learned
from the Patriots, a perfect season means nothing at the end,
but fans and bettors alike are still excited to see how far the
Titans will go without losing a game. And on Sunday the
Tennessee Titans will be challenged by the visiting Green Bay
Packers (4-3), who can definitely put up a fight, although the
odds makers are far from making them favorite.
At the online sports betting website
Bookmaker the odds on the Green
Bay Packers to put an end to the Titans' winning streak are not
good, at underdog +170, while Tennessee will be a favorite one
more time, listed with odds to make it 8-0 at -200 with the
sportsbook. The Green Bay Packers vs. Tennessee Titans point
spread is currently at -4.5 points chalk the Titans with the
total listed by the bookie at 40.5 points. Betting trends on the
two NFL franchises show that Green Bay is 10-3 against the
spread in its last 13 games on the road, but Tennessee is 5-0
against the spread in its last 5 games overall and 4-1 against
the spread in its last 5 games at home. Also keep in mind that
the total has gone OVER in 4 of the Titans last 5 games and in 6
of Green Bay's last 8 games on the road.
Not much trouble at the Tennessee camp
this week, linebacker Colin Allred, cornerback Chris Carr and
defensive end William Hayes missed Thursday practice, but the
rest of the teams is in good health. Meanwhile Green Bay Packers
quarterback Aaron Rodgers' performance for Sunday's game is
still questionable, after a limited Thursday practice with a
sprained right shoulder. The Packers bye week obviously did not
help linebacker Desmond Bishop, who missed Thursday practice,
nursing hamstring injury. Green Bay Packers defensive end Jason
Hunter and linebacker Danny Lansanah, however, managed to
recover from their hamstring injuries and did a full one
yesterday.
