American Idol: Who got voted off?
Two contestants on American
Idol voted off yesterday and no surprises from the elimination
results.
Last week no one was
eliminated as the American Idol did raise over $70 for various
charities in the country and for Africa, as well. This week,
however, two of the singers had to go. Over 135 million votes
were cast over the last two weeks and America decided who is
leaving the Idol.
Phil Stacey and Chris
Richardson were the one the online betting website
Bodog predicted would go home
on May 2nd, and they were right. Now there are three women and
one man left in the final 4 of American Idol, and the odds are
still good for Jordin Sparks (betting odds 10/11) to win the Season 6 of the popular
show, even though she had to endure the cold-as-usual critics of
Simon Cowell last week.
For their final performance,
Phil Stacey sung "Blaze of Glory" and Chris Richardson performed
"Wanted Dead or Alive", both songs by Bon Jovi.
Only four contestants are left
to compete for the American Idol, and the winner will be
determined on May 23rd.
