American Idol: Jordin Sparks still favorite to
win
After the American Idol Final
Four performance last night, today will be the day to count the
votes and find out who will be eliminated.
The
people have spoken today. All over the Internet you will find
plenty of disappointed folks. Many believe that last night's
American Idol contenders made their worst performances ever. Or
it could be that the songs of Barry Gibb just weren't their cup
of tea? Either way, we stopped by the online betting website
Bodog to see if there was a
movement at the American Idol betting odds.
And yes, the bad songs we
heard last night just made Jordin Sparks (singing “To Love
Somebody” and “Woman in Love”) odds to win the Idol even better
- 10/11. Jordin has been more steady in her performace from the
very beginning of the American Idol, and the "no-kiss" singing
by LaKisha Jones yesterday may cost her the chance to continue
tonight to the semifinals. Lakisha Jones performed the songs
“Stayin’ Alive” and “Run to Me” and her betting odds continue to
be the worst - 14/1.
Melinda Doolittle, who sang
“Love You Inside and Out” and “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart”,
continues to hold on to the second-favorite spot in the heart of
the bookmakers with odds stabile at 6/5. Blake Lewis would pay
$7 to every $2 bet on him if he wins the American Idol, and many
people are positive that we will see at least a man and a woman
on the finals.
The American Idol elimination
results will be announced tonight on Fox. Who will get voted off
American Idol?
