Poker: WSOP 2007 and final table odds
The World Series of Poker is the most awaited
event of the poker year, and it is considered to be the ultimate
achievement in any poker player’s career.
The
poker tournament is organized by Harrah's Operating Company Inc.
and the winner of WSOP gets the most prestigious award a poker
player can win – the World Series of Poker Gold Bracelet.
Although the poker tournament does not start until June 1st, the
British online betting website
Blue Square has already
pulled some odds out, namely, which players will get the the
final table this year.
According to the U.K. bookmaker, Phil Ivey (5
bracelets) has the best chance to reach the final 9 at the WSOP
2007 with odds 20/1. Daniel Negreanu (3 bracelets), Carlos
Mortensen (2 bracelets) and Allen Cunningham (4 WSOP events
bracelets) are following close behind with betting odds to reach
the final at the World Series of Poker of 33/1. The worst odds
are 500/1 given to Marco "Cashpoint" Camilleri.
