Michigan casino goes virtual
The Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant,
Michigan, recently hired a virtual dealer to take the bets.
The
Indian casino now have a virtual section, where gamblers can
play roulette and other table games, including poker. The table
is electronic with a five seats and a hi-def monitor which
displays the virtual dealer.
According to the Soaring Eagle Casino's
marketing manager Bill Masterson, the purpose of this new
addition to the casino is to bridge the gap between the video
games and the casino gambling. Masterson also states that
gamblers, who would usually be intimidated by a live dealer, can
play much more comfortably.
The virtual gambling table would also display
all the rules of your current casino game with just a push of a
button, and the virtual dealer is always ready to answer
questions. Which is another great way to attract gamblers who
usually avoid the live table games, because they don't know much
about that particular casino game, and feel shy and nervous
playing among real people.
Although the equipment is still in a testing
phase while small problems are being worked out, the virtual
casino floor has proven to attract the younger audience of the
casino.
