Who won the Preakness Stakes - Curlin
The second leg of the 2007 Triple Crown, the
Preakness Stakes, is over and Curlin won the race by inches.
It
seems that Curlin is finally paying off to the thousands of
bettors who took the
Bodog Racebook betting odds of 7/2 for
Curlin winning the Preakness Stakes. Curlin finished inches
ahead of the second Street Sense and third was Hard Spun. Street
Sense was the bookmakers' favorite to win until the end, but
bettors could not cash on the horse a second time. Jockey for
Curlin was Robby Albarado and trainer of the colt is Steve Asmussen.
Preakness Stakes top three were Curlin (#4),
Street Sense (#8), Hard Spun (#7).
Congratulations to all the winners and we look
forward to the Belmont Stakes on June 9th.
