Kobe Bryant wants
to leave the Lakers
The on of the best players the Lakers have
ever had, Kobe Bryant, made public that he wants out of the
team.
During a radio interview with ESPN, Bryant
admitted he had requested to be traded, after calling the main
office of the basketball team a mess. His multimillion dollar
contract, however, has four years left, out of the seven he
signed under.
The whole controversy started when an L.A.
reporter quoted an insider from the Lakers saying that Shaq's
trade to Miami was triggered by tensions between him and Kobe.
But according to Kobe Bryant, in his conversation with coach
Phil Jackson, reducing of payroll and a long term plan was the
explanation behind this.
On Tuesday, Bryant did a series of radio
interviews bashing the Lakers. He insisted the owner Jerry Buss
misled him three years ago, saying the team would try
immediately to rejoin the NBA's elite. Yesterday Buss was
arrested (and later released) on DUI charges in Carlsbad.
Kobe Bryant has won three consecutive NBA
championships with the Lakers.
The online betting website
