Chris Chambers arrested for DWI

Chris Chambers was arrested on DUI charges in Charlotte, North
Carolina.

Chambers, wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, was arrested
early Saturday for driving while impaired and speeding in
Charlotte, North Carolina. According to the police, the
28-year-old Chambers is facing charges of driving while
impaired, speeding, and reckless driving, after he was pulled
over a few miles south of downtown Charlotte around 2:30 am. The
Dolphin was released on $1,750 bond later today.
Chris Chambers is now the third Miami
Dolphins player to be arrested this off-season. First it was
Joey Porter ,when he was arrested for punching Cincinnati
Bengals tackle Levi Jones in a Las Vegas casino in March. Fred
Evans become the second Miami Dolphin to be arrested - in June
he was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and
battery on a police officer. Miami later kicked Evans off the
team.
Dolphins spokesman admitted the team
management was aware of the Chris Chambers arrest, but dismissed
questions by saying they are in the process of gathering more
information.
