The Saratoga Race Course opened on Wednesday with the first-race post at 1 p.m.

Saratoga Race Course now open for betting business As tradition dictates, the first race at the Saratoga Race Course was the two-year-old fillies 89th running of the Grade 3, $100,000-added Schuylerville at six furlongs. With Sunday being the final day of the Belmont Park Spring/Summer Meet, Spa will get all the attention of the horse racing bettors.
