Joel Madden is Nicole Richie baby daddy

Troubled Nicole Riche has confirmed she is pregnant and that the father of her baby is Joel Madden.

Joel Madden is Nicole Richie baby daddy Nicole Richie confirmed publicly, during an ABC interview with Diane Sawyer, that she is pregnant. According to the adopted daughter of musician Lionel Richie the father of her baby is the Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden. Nicole Richie also revealed that she is four months pregnant. The interview could be watched on "Good Morning America" on Thursday and Friday.

Richie pleaded guilty last Friday on charges of driving under influence. The charge comes from her December arrest, when allegedly she was pulled over for driving on the wrong side of the highway. Back then, she also admitted to the arresting officer that she has smoked marijuana and took Vicodin. Nicole Richie received a four-day sentence, which she has to serve until the end of September.

"I have a responsibility and it's something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would. And unfortunately, I can't, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult," Nicole Richie told Diane Sawyer.
