The housemates kick out Gerry
Yet another twist, the public
vote not enough, the latest victim of BB8 is Gerry
Stergiopoulos.
With
the viewers' interest in Big Brother 8 taking a dive, the
producers decided to add yet another twist and instead of the
public deciding who will go next, Tracey Barnard, Ziggy Lichman,
and twins Sam and Amanda Marchant had to decide who will be
evicted from the Big Brother House.
Six of the contestants were up for
eviction: Carole, Brian, Liam, Kara-Louise, Jonty and Gerry were
subjects of the public to vote off and Carole and Gerry got the
most votes to be kicked out of the BB8. However, the faith of
the two fell into the hands of the four housemates, who had
escaped the eviction vote by winning this week’s tasks.
Gerry asked to be chosen to leave the
Big Brother and after he was picked the gallery researcher said
“That’s fine, that’s fine. Guys, I know it would have been a
twist and I’m perfectly fine. I want Carole to win this award.”
