Formula 1: Felipe
Massa takes pole for Turkish Grand Prix
Felipe Massa was a hair ahead
of Lewis Hamilton for the pole position at the Turkish Grand
Prix qualifiers.
Ferrari
and McLaren will be at the top four spots again entering the
Turkish Grand Prix Formula 1 race on Sunday. Felipe Massa
(Ferrari) was the fastest on the track today, beating McLaren
rival Lewis Hamilton by hair. Hamilton will start second after
having the lead in the qualifier until the last turn made by
Massa.
An error by the second Ferrari driver
Kimi Raikkonen left him third with 1m 27.546s, but his time was
good enough to leave Fernando Alonso (McLaren) at the fourth
position for the Turkish GP start tomorrow. Two BMWs lined up
fifth and six, driven by Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld
respectively.
The betting odds on the Turkish Grand
Prix were immediately adjusted by the British online bookmaker
Bet365, and Felipe Massa is now
listed as the favorite to win the F1 race on Sunday with odds
5/4. Teammate Kimi Raikkonen is at 5/2, followed by Lewis
Hamilton with odds 11/4 and Fernando Alonso 5/1 to win the race.
Here are the top ten Formula 1 drivers on the
